Pentokamaro - Zante Vacation - Zakynthos Island Greece
The Old Bridge in Alykes is an historical attraction, a pretty stone bridge built over the Skourtis River.
The exact year it was built is unknown, but the bridge dates from the 15th Century as it was built by the English during their time of occupation on Zante.
The bridge is called the Pentacamaro Bridge, as 'Pente' in Greek means five and the bridge has 5 arches. The bridge is easily accessible from both Alykes and the nearby resort Alykanas.
